You contribute 5% of your annual base salary to the Base Retirement Plan. When eligible, the University will contribute the equivalent of 10% of your annual base salary. You may not elect to contribute an amount other than 5%.
You may elect to participate in the Base Retirement Plan prior to receiving the University contribution. You may be contributing to the Base Retirement Plan on either a voluntary or a mandatory basis. If you are contributing to the Base Retirement Plan on a voluntary basis, this can impact your 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Plan contributions. Refer to the 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Plan Contribution Limits for additional information.
