Note that the Basic Plan is available only if you're eligible for university contributions.

Online Enrollment
Online enrollment is the fastest and easiest way to enroll. Before you enroll, have the following information available:

Your investment allocations, which you select from your investment choices

The Access Code for each plan for which you are eligible:

University of Richmond Basic Plan* (Retirement Annuity): VA100190

University of Richmond Optional Plan (Supplemental Retirement Annuity): VA100191

Read our step-by-step instructions.

Important: Don't forget that your enrollment is not complete until you also complete and submit the required Salary Reduction Agreement. You can also use the agreement to modify your contributions.</ENROLLMENT_CUSTOM_TEXT_TOP>
                <ENROLLMENT_CUSTOM_TEXT_BOTTOM>How It Works

New Enrollees: Once you've enrolled, on the Confirmation page choose "Go" next to “Complete a Salary Reduction Agreement online now.” This will take you to the Salary Reduction Agreement.

New or Existing Employees: If you have not completed your agreement or wish to change your elections at any time, access the Salary Reduction Agreement directly. The agreement will enable you to elect your salary reduction for both University of Richmond plans: the Basic Plan (Retirement Annuity) and the Optional Plan (Group Supplemental Annuity).

Follow these instructions based on the scenario that best fits you:

New Employees enrolling in the Optional Plan: Complete only the plan section for the Group Supplemental Retirement Annuity. Choose your contribution level:

A % of your gross annual salary;

A dollar amount per pay period; or

The maximum reduction amount allowed

Existing Employees enrolling in the Basic Plan and continuing Optional Plan contributions: Please complete both sections of the form including your new or current contribution election to the Supplemental plan.

Existing Employees enrolling in the Basic Plan and discontinuing Optional Plan contributions: You must submit two agreements. On the first agreement, check the box at the top of the page indicating “Click here to stop contributions,” then submit your request. On the second agreement, complete only the section for the Basic (Retirement Annuity) plan, then submit.

Please note: Only use “Click here to stop contributions” to terminate one or both of your Salary Reduction Agreements. Once you've done so you must complete a new agreement to continue contributions to either or both of your plans.

When you change elections, be sure to complete all sections that apply even if certain elections won't change. This will ensure that your contributions are processed correctly.

The Overall Morningstar Rating for a fund is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five- and ten-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics. [Insert name of fund] was rated against the following numbers of U.S.-domiciled [insert name of category] funds over the following time periods: [insert number of funds in category during prior 3-year period] funds in the last three years, [insert number of funds in category during the prior 5-year period] funds in the last five years, and [insert number of funds in category during the prior 10-year period] funds in the last ten years.
