We're pleased to offer you online enrollment in your State University of New York retirement plans. It's the fastest and easiest way to enroll.

Before you enroll, have the following information available:

• Your investment allocations, which you select from your investment choices
• Your Social Security number
• Your beneficiary's Social Security number, birth date and address

Next, select the plan(s) in which you want to enroll (SUNY employees can enroll in both plans at once or in one plan at a time):

SUNY RETIREMENT PLANS

Employer Plan

• SUNY Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) — Open this account to make your mandatory 3% contribution and to receive an 8% faculty or staff member contribution from the state under the SUNY Optional Retirement Plan.

Voluntary Plan*

• SUNY Voluntary Savings Plan (GSRA) — Open a Voluntary Savings Plan with the State University of New York. You contribute a fixed-dollar amount per pay period (SUNY does not contribute to this plan). Enrollment is open to faculty and staff members.

Employer and Voluntary Plan*

• SUNY Optional Retirement Plan and GSRA — Open this account to make your mandatory 3% contribution under the SUNY Optional Retirement Plan and to establish a Voluntary Savings Plan for making additional, nonmatching contributions.

* Note: Don't forget that your online enrollment in the Voluntary Savings Plan is not complete until you print the online confirmation statement, download and complete the required Salary Reduction Agreement, and bring both documents to your benefits office.
