We are pleased to offer you the following options to enroll in your University of Chicago retirement plan.

Online Enrollment

Online enrollment is the fastest and easiest way to enroll. Before you enroll, have the following information available:

• Your investment allocations, which you select from your investment choices
• Your Social Security number
• Your beneficiary's Social Security number, birth date and address
• The name of the plan(s) in which you want to enroll:
• Retirement Income Plan for Employees (ERIP) - Mandatory for staff employees (after completing one year of employment)
• Contributory Retirement Plan (CRP) - Mandatory for faculty and other academic personnel
• Supplemental Retirement Plan (SRP) - All employees are immediately eligible for this voluntary plan
• 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan - Voluntary for all benefits-eligible employees having a benefit base salary (as of October 2009) equal to or greater than $186,900 who are contributing the maximum permitted to the SRP.

NOTE: Your enrollment in the University of Chicago Retirement Plan for which you are eligible is not complete until you also download and complete the appropriate form and return it to the Benefits Office.
