We're pleased to offer you online enrollment in your University of Michigan retirement plans. It's the fastest and easiest way to enroll.

Before you enroll, have the following information available:

• Your investment allocations, which you select from your investment choices
• Your Social Security number
• Your beneficiary's Social Security number, birth date and address

Next, select the plan in which you want to enroll:

• U-M Basic Retirement Plan — Open the account for your 5% faculty or staff member contribution under the U-M Basic Retirement Plan, and the 401(a) account to accept the 10% U-M contribution.
• U-M Supplemental Retirement Account (SRA) — Open a 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Account (SRA) with the University of Michigan. You contribute a fixed dollar amount per pay period. (U-M does not contribute to this plan.) Enrollment is open to all faculty and staff members with a 1% appointment or greater.
• U-M Basic Retirement Plan and SRA — Open the account for your 5% faculty or staff member contribution under the U-M Basic Retirement Plan, and the 401(a) account to accept the 10% U-M contribution. You will also establish a 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Account (SRA) for making additional non-matching contributions.
• U-M 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan — Open a 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan with the University of Michigan. You contribute a fixed dollar amount per pay period. (U-M does not contribute to this plan.) Enrollment is open to all faculty and staff members with a 1% appointment or greater.
